🔒 Protect your personal data across platforms with these essential steps:

🔵 Facebook

• Limit profile visibility — make personal info “Friends” or “Only Me”

• Turn off facial recognition

• Set posts to “Friends” or “Only Me”

• Remove apps and websites connected to your account

• Disable location history

• Clear Off-Facebook Activity

• Opt out of ad personalization

• Turn off tag suggestions

• Review and clean up old content

🍎 iPhone

• Turn off app tracking requests

• Limit location access to “While Using” or “Never”

• Enable Mail Privacy Protection

• Disable analytics sharing with Apple

• Review app permissions (camera, mic, photos)

• Use iCloud Private Relay (for iCloud+ subscribers)

• Restrict Bluetooth access

• Set strong passcode & Face ID

💻 Apple Devices

• Turn off Location Services system-wide

• Disable analytics and Siri recordings

• Limit Spotlight/Siri suggestions

• Encrypt drive with FileVault

• Enable and configure firewall (turn on stealth mode)

• Manage iCloud sync settings

• Harden Safari privacy (block trackers, hide IP)

• Set AirDrop to Contacts Only

🔐 Cloudflare WARP & Secure DNS (not always supported on all network connections. WARP app on iPhones is a solid start)

• Download WARP app for DNS + VPN-style privacy

• Use WARP+ (optional speed boost)

• Manually set DNS to 1.1.1.1:
  

  • iPhone: Settings > Wi-Fi > (i) > Configure DNS > Manual → 1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1

  • Mac: System Settings > Network > DNS > Add 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1

• Enable DNS over HTTPS in your browser
