Extra uumph to the chocolate chip cookie

Take your favorite, but basic, chocolate chip cookie recipe. I did this with the recipe from the Nestle Tollhouse bag of semi-sweet chips.
Add 1/2 tsp cardamom and 1/4 tsp mace to the dry ingredients.
